the 9th or the 10th? - we didn't really start questioning this until we took a deep dive into the role bdsm may have played in the murder of dee dee blanchard
                                                                                                                     2000 - 2005
Our website is updated on a daily basis. We're regularly working on new leads as well as deep diving information we already have, so information may change as more truths are uncovered. We've only scratched the surface of this case, there's still so much more to discover.

Excerpts from Gypsy Rose Blanchard's 2024, 'memoir', 'My Time To Stand', are  interspersed throughout the website, to illustrate and reinforce that a false narrative continues to be promoted.
"Dee Dee put Gypsy through a living hell. In my eyes, she (Gypsy) didn't really do a crime" (Bobby Pitre, 2017)

After Dee Dee and Gypsy - who says she may have have been 5 or 9 years old - leave Claude Snr's or maybe Claude Jnr's house - Gypsy isn't sure whose house they left -  they spend some time living in Thibodaux and Slidell, both situated in Louisiana, drifting from home to home, and place to place.
Not an easy task for a single parent with a genuinely sick child to take care of.

In October 2000, Dee Dee and Gypsy visited a Dr Garcia at Tulane hospital, New Orleans.

Dee Dee's chief complaint was that Gypsy, who presented in a wheelchair, was suffering from muscle weakness in her legs, which Dee Dee suspected was caused by muscular dystrophy.
Dr Garcia booked Gypsy in for an EMG and an MRI scan.
On the 27th October 2000, Dee Dee and Gypsy attended Tulane hospital for an MRI scan, and images of Gypsy's spine (lumbar, thoracic and cervical) and brain were taken.
On the 31st October 2000, Gypsy underwent an EMG, a diagnostic test that measures the electrical activity of muscles and nerves.
All tests came back as normal, which suggested Gypsy didn't have muscular dystrophy.

Dr Garcia then ordered a muscle biopsy, which offers a more detailed and accurate result than an EMG and is a standard procedure when testing for muscle conditions, as well as another MRI scan.
The fact that Dr Garcia continued testing Gypsy beyond the results of her initial EMG and MRI, suggests that Dr Garcia recognised there was a problem, he just didn't know what it was.

On the 31st January 2001, Gypsy underwent a muscle biopsy, and a small sample of her right thigh was taken.
T
he results showed no evidence of muscular dystrophy, but a slight atrophy (a wasting or thinning of muscle waste) was discovered.
The diagnosis on the medical record reads - Type II Fiber Atrophy, which
was attributed to Gypsy’s 'purposeful disuse of her limbs', not from her ability to use them.
In other words, Gypsy was perfectly able to walk, but was deliberately not walking, and it was this lack of mobility that was believed to be causing slight muscle wasting.

The biopsy proved, without a doubt, that Gypsy did not have muscular dystrophy.

Gypsy's muscle biopsy is repeatedly held up as an example of Dee Dee's alleged medical abuse.
Dr Phil discussed this topic directly with Gypsy, stating that the biopsy was done to test for muscular dystrophy.
Nope.
The chief complaint is clearly recorded in Gypsy's medical records; Clinical history - Bilateral leg weakness.
Dr Phil asked Gypsy, "Did you ever know what the results were?"
Gypsy responded, "No Sir".
Gypsy then went on to tell Dr Phil that her test results came back as normal after just telling him she didn't know what the results were, a contradiction which seemed to escape a rampaging Dr Phil's attention.

When Dr Phil asked Gypsy if Dee Dee knew the test results came back as 'normal', Gypsy answered, "I think that she did know that. If a doctor wouldn't give her the results that she wanted, or say what she wanted them to say, she would switch to a different doctor". (Mother Knows Best, 2017).
Nope.
Gypsy saw the same few primary care givers over a course of 23 years, outside of the many doctors she saw during her numerous ER visits.

Despite the results of the biopsy, Dr Garcia pressed on with the second MRI scan, and, arguably, he pressed on, because he believed there was something wrong with Gypsy.

On the 2nd April 2001, Dee Dee and Gypsy attended Tulane hospital for a second MRI scan, and again, the results returned as normal.

There must have been a fair bit of confusion and back and forth in Dr Garcia's office the day the test results were discussed with Dee Dee, who, ultimately wasn't as accepting of this result as maybe she should have been.
Why?
Maybe because she knew better than Dr Garcia how much time Gypsy's 'tired legs' actually spent in a wheelchair.
Maybe because Gypsy continued to complain of muscle weakness in her legs.
Maybe because Dr Garcia recognised there was a medical issue, he just couldn't identify it.
Maybe because, 'A slight atrophy (a wasting or thinning of muscle waste)' cannot be considered a 'normal' result.

Maybe because one actual truth slipped through a pathological liar's mouth when Gypsy told Nicholas Godejohn in 2014 that she was the one who faked her paralysis.

One thing we are certain of; Dee Dee Blanchard did not knowingly plonk her able-bodied child in a wheelchair and tell her she would be in it for the rest of her life.

There is a video taken by Dee Dee of Gypsy when she was 5 years old at a children's cheerleaders play session.
Whilst the group of children in the video are shown upright, eagerly practicing a dance routine, Gypsy is seen sitting on the floor amongst them, looking tired and bewildered.

In another of Dee Dee's home videos, Gypsy, again aged around 5, is shown standing upright one minute, and falling to the ground the next. (See video below).
This is just a tiny snapshot of what Dee Dee may have been witnessing on a regular basis; Gypsy's 'tired legs'.
Fatigue and muscle weakness are key symptoms of muscular dystrophy, so it shouldn't come as any surprise that Dee Dee suspected Gypsy may have had the disorder.
And even when the condition was discounted, Dee Dee battled on to have her child's health issue diagnosed.

As she rightly should.

Conditions of a spinal muscle atrophy can lead to hypotonia, a state of low muscle tone involving reduced muscle strength.
Hypotonia is often a sign of a genetic disorder.
Symptoms of hypotonia include tiring easily, because of the extra effort needed to activate muscles or maintain their posture, leading to challenges in tasks like walking, reaching, and balancing.
Feeding difficulties are also common in individuals with hypotonia, due to weak oral and throat muscles, resulting in issues associated with taking in enough calories each day.
Hypotonia is one of the most likely features associated with Gypsy's chromosome disorder, 1q21.1 microdeletion syndrome.
But hindsight is a wonderful thing.
In 2001 technology wasn't advanced enough to test Gypsy for the chromosome disorder we all now know she has, that wouldn't come for another 10 years.
And Dee Dee never once gave up trying to establish exactly what was wrong with Gypsy.
That's not Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy.

Muscular dystrophy is often notated in Gypsy's medical history after Gypsy's biopsy results, but as often as 'muscular dystrophy' is recorded so too it is 'touched on' rather than explicitly stated -
'Paralysis of her (Gypsy's) lower extremities' (July 2002).
'Unclassified congenital neuromuscular disease' (January 2004).
'Parapleg(ia)'  (February 2004).
'Neuromuscular weakness due to an undetermined etiology'  (May 2004).
'Unspecified neuromuscular disease'. (February 2005).

'Some form of muscular weakness or dystrophy' (March 2005).
'History of a neuromuscular disorder, not otherwise specified' (April 2005).
This suggests that Dee Dee wasn't necessarily insisting, in the face of the biopsy results, that Gypsy had muscular dystrophy, rather she was reporting  symptoms similar to those found in that particular condition.
Interestingly, 'mild restrictive lung disease evidenced by a relatively low maximum voluntary ventilation ' is also recorded in Gypsy's medical records (May 2005).
Once Dee Dee and Gypsy were in Missouri, the pattern persisted, thus, muscular dystrophy is often notated in the Missouri medical records, but so too is -
'Progressive muscular dystrophy, does not know type' and, 'progressive muscular dystrophy, type unclear' (June 2007).
'Muscular dystrophy of unclear type'. (September 2009), and,
'Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy'. (September 2009).
'Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy' is notated in several of Gypsy's medical records. It is the 4th most common genetic cause of muscle weakness, characterised by progressive muscle weakness and wasting of muscles around the hips and shoulders.
Now either Dee Dee's short period of training as a nurse's aide had reached that conclusion, or a medical professional had whispered it in her ear.

Dee Dee wasn't storming out of doctor's offices left, right and centre, when she wasn't told what she wanted to hear, she was forging on, caring for her child and trying to get a diagnosis as to what was wrong with her.
We have a feeling little Miss Precious,  the pampered and spoilt princess, wasn't helping matters much, selectively choosing when she could walk and when she couldn't.

When visiting hospitals in New Orleans, Dee Dee and Gypsy often stayed over at a Ronald McDonald house on Canal Street, a 15 bedroomed facility which provides accommodation for children who are being treated at nearby hospitals and medical facilities, as Gypsy was.

in 2001, Staff at the Ronald McDonald house invited Gypsy to be their honorary queen at the Mardi Gras Parade, held on Sunday 25th February 2001, as reported in the local newspaper.
In the news report, Gypsy Pitre-Blanchard, is presented as, "Suffering from poor physical and mental development, she is both vision and hearing impaired. She can longer walk, is fed through a feeding tube and has some brain damage from seizures".

Dee Dee tells the reporter that she and Gypsy have been, "Going to the Ronald McDonald house since she (Gypsy) was 3 days old".
The report also tells us that Gypsy, "S
pends a lot of time with her grandfather, Claude Pitre, whom she considers her best friend".
Would that be the same grandfather Gypsy reported had evicted her and Dee Dee from his house shortly before this 2001 interview?
Gypsy is described in the article as, "An avid animal lover, with four cats".
Dee Dee reports that Gypsy is home schooled, but attends religious education classes at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.
The report also offers an insight into 9 year old Gypsy's social life at this time, "(Gypsy) Goes to events like Sesame Street Live and a recent convention for fans of 'Xena, Warrior Princess' and 'Hercules, the Legendary Journeys'. Whilst there, she met cast members, Ted Raimi and Bruce Campbell, AKA Joxer and Autolycus on 'Xena', who spent the whole weekend with her".
The article also reports that members of the congregation at the cathedral, "Are hoping to hold a fundraising drive soon, so they can buy a self-contained, portable feeding pump that Gypsy can carry with her. There are also hopes that Gypsy can get an assistance dog soon".(All quotes, Houma Today on the 23rd February 2001).
Things don't appear to be going too badly for young Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

We're continually told that Dee Dee craved the attention she received from caring for a sick child, but we can't imagine events like 'Sesame Street Live' and 'Xena, Warrior Princess' were on Dee Dee's bucket list of places to go.
The one who benefitted the from these experiences was Gypsy.
Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy it is not.

On May 29th, 2001, Dee Dee was badly injured in a car accident, leaving her foot almost severed.
Her autopsy report reveals that the accident resulted in a 6 and a half inch scar on the lower part of her left leg.
Gypsy records in her, fictional 'memoir', 'My Time To Stand' but not report the truth, "Afterward, she (Dee Dee) experienced chronic pain, which led to her to be prescribed with pain meds, which led to my addiction to her opioids".
Even with her foot hanging by a thread, Dee Dee is still cast in the role of abuser.
In 2024, Gypsy records the accident happening when she was 8 or 9.
She was closer to 10.

Gypsy has often stated that she became addicted to opioids at an early age, which, of course, she blames on Dee Dee.
Gypsy was prescribed pain medication for her health conditions, because that's what doctors do when somebody is experiencing pain, they prescribe pain medication.
But addicted?
No.
In an attempt to substantiate her addiction, Gypsy reports that pain medication was found on her person when she was arrested, but Gypsy was fixated on a convicted drug dealer and alleged heroin addict at the time of her arrest, who she'd planned to have sex with a day after her mother was brutally murdered, so right back at you, Gyp.

Gypsy also professed to needing seizure medication when she was arrested, but then later said she didn't suffer from seizures.
She also showed detectives a feeding tube she intimated was vital, which she'd allegedly told Dee Dee days before she didn't need.

Gypsy had a blood test done the day she was arrested and nothing was detected in her system.
An unexpected result for an opioid addict wouldn't you say?

In some of Gypsy's medical records, Dee Dee reports receiving a head trauma injury in the crash, which left her with some kind of memory disorder, citing that she couldn't always remember information relating to all of Gypsy's illnesses.
It's possible.
It's not impossible.
Combine almost losing your foot and a traumatic head injury, with the overwhelming responsibility of looking after a child with the multitude of health conditions Gypsy had, completely on your own with little family support or support from the child's father, if any, and you can see where Dee Dee could perhaps get a bit forgetful and flustered at times.

Whilst Dee Dee recuperated in hospital, Gypsy went to stay with her grandfather - her 'best friend' - and his second wife, Laura.

In the God awful, 'The Prison Confessions Of Gypsy Rose Blanchard', Gypsy discusses her imminent parole hearing, "I'm going to feel pressure to give them what they want to hear. My mother taught me how to lie and manipulate, but that doesn't make me who I am, and I can learn to tell the truth. I'm just as flawed as the next person. I've made mistakes in my life. I've made bad choices but once the parole board knows the things that they don't know, it'll make them understand a little bit better who I am and why I did what I did." ('The Prison Confessions', 2024).
Gypsy then immediately reveals, "When I was living with my grandpa and my step grandmother, things changed in my life forever. I was being sexually abused, molested". ('The Prison Confessions', 2024).

There aren't that many people who share Gypsy's 'flaws'.
Parricide is fortunately an uncommon crime.
We don't claim to be the sharpest knives in the drawer, but, 'Confessions' and 'Parole' and 'Gypsy Rose Blanchard' led us to think that an allegation of 'sexual abuse' would follow.
And unfortunately for Claude Snr., it did.

According to Claude Snr, "When Dee Dee was in the hospital I took care of Gypsy. She would eat with us at the table, some French fries or anything we cooked. She didn't use no feeding machine. We played together. We took her to church and everything. In that little wheelchair we'd bring her. Everywhere". (The Prison Confessions, 2024).
Aren't family members always harping on about how Gypsy would jump out of her wheelchair and run around whenever Dee Dee wasn't around?
So why didn't she jump out of the wheel chair and run around when Dee Dee was in hospital?
And eat?
What, hard, solid food?
Crispy French fries?

According to Gypsy in her gobbledygook 'memoir' ('My Time To Stand' and continue on with my massacre of innocent people's lives) - published just before she was released from prison in order to pave the way for a hopeful entry into the spotlight - Claude and Laura, did use her feeding tube, for both her medications and her food.
We know who we believe.
And it aint you Gyp.

Gypsy's claims of sexual abuse aren't revealed until almost 9 years after her arrest.
If true, then it would be genuinely horrific.
If not, then it shows there's still nothing
Gypsy won't do, and there's still nobody Gypsy won't throw under the wheels of the Gypsy train, to get what she wants, and that should be really concerning to everybody reading this.

Gypsy claims the sexual abuse happened whilst Dee Dee was in hospital recovering from her accident, alleging that it took place in a closet, or in a shed at the back of Claude Snr's house, where he would perform sex acts on her and make her touch him inappropriately.
Gypsy states that Claude Snr told her not to say anything, "You don't want paw paw to go to jail do you?" (The Prison Confessions, 2024).

According to Kristy Blanchard, Gypsy told her that Claude Snr, "Would take a bath with her (Gypsy). I mean, you don't do that. At all". (NewsNation, 2024).
Seemingly Laura Pitre, who was also on scene, must have disagreed.
Kristy goes on to say there are other things she knows about the abuse, but that it's Gypsy's story to tell.
Kristy promotes, "It could be all in the book". (News Nation, 2024).

Gypsy says she didn't immediately tell Dee Dee what was happening because, "She was too badly injured to protect me". (The Prison Confessions, 2024), but claims she finally revealed a little bit of the abuse to Dee Dee about a year later.
Gypsy says Dee Dee cried, and blamed herself and, "Proceeded to let me know that he had done the same thing to her when she was a child as well". (The Prison Confessions, 2024).

Claude Snr denies these allegations.
When confronted by an interviewer with the allegations, Claude Snr appears genuinely thrown and confused.
(Interviewer) "Gypsy told us there may have been some abuse that went on in this house".
Claude responds, "Abuse? Abuse with who?"
(Interviewer) "With You".
(Claude Snr) "Who?"
(Interviewer) "Gypsy".
(Claude Snr) "Gypsy?"
(Interviewer) "Yeah".
(Claude, shaking his head) "Uh Uh. No. I never. That's the first I heard of it. We always would play together and always stuff like that".
The interviewer then asks Claude why he thinks Gypsy would make up the allegation. Claude replies, "I don't know. I don't know baby. ('Baby' is the Cajan equivalent of 'dear'.) She would try to touch me. I said, 'No. Don't do that'. She was the one that was trying to touch me. I said, 'No. Don't do that'. She started that when she was about 4 years old. I said, 'Don't do that'. And er, that's about it. But she was trying to touch me". (The Prison Confessions, 2024).
This seems a bizarre response to say the least, but as uncomfortable as it is to hear, it is possible. There was no constant father figure in Gypsy's life, and children can be curious about things like that.
Claude Snr's response is no less bizarre than Kristy's, who says, "If he (Claude Snr) did it, he has to live with it". (News Nation, 2024).
If?

Dee Dee’s brother, Evans, turns the allegations onto Dee Dee, saying, "No, I don't think that happened. I think that was probably just taught to her (Gypsy) by her mom for attention. To throw the spotlight on somebody else besides her". (The Prison Confessions, 2024).

Claude Snr has never been accused by any of his children or any of his many, many grandchildren of sexual abuse, or ever charged with any offences relating to sexual abuse.
It will be for a court of law to decide if the abuse happened when Gypsy brings charges against her grandfather, which, to date, she hasn't.
For the record Gyp, there is no time limit on reporting sexual abuse.

In a podcast Gypsy appeared in less than 2 weeks after her parole from prison, she says she was ready to forgive her grandfather for molesting her, but had changed her mind after hearing his response to the allegations, saying that she now just wants to, "Be done with it". (Nick Viall 2024).
Be done with it?
What victim of sexual abuse says that?

Rod Blanchard has not commented on Gypsy's sexual abuse allegations.
It would appear there's only so far even Rod Blanchard is willing to go.
Bobby Pitre has added to the allegations by stating during his appearance on a 2024 podcast, that Dee Dee used dildoes on a very young, Gypsy.
Bobby Pitre has zero evidence to substantiate this claim, other than, 'my aunt told me', just as we have zero evidence to substantiate a claim that the money Bobby Pitre mustered up to build his second tacky tattoo parlour in 2017, came from the revenue he earned from his involvement in this case and from promoting his trade during many of his interviews.
It's weird that Gypsy has never aired Bobby's claims.
She admits to using a 9 inch dildo but blames Nicholas Godejohn for that, not Dee Dee.
Always the victim.

Gypsy described Dee Dee as an 'over protective' mother, so it's hard to imagine that Dee Dee would have allowed a father who allegedly molested her too, to look after her own daughter at any given time.

In our opinion, Claude Snr never sexually abused Dee Dee or Gypsy.
There, we said it.
What a wicked, wicked, woman,
Gypsy Rose Blanchard is.

Papers filed in court on the 17th September, 2002, reveal that Dee Dee was pursuing a claim for injuries and losses Gypsy sustained in the car accident.
What those injuries and losses were we don't know, but given the horrific injury Dee Dee suffered, it's difficult to imagine that Gypsy left the car injury free, so not only were Claude and Laura Pitre caring for Gypsy, they were also potentially caring for an injured and traumatised Gypsy.
Whilst this doesn't definitively play into the question of whether or not Claude Snr molested Gypsy, it does provide some context.
We tend to forget that Laura Pitre was physically present during this period, and were Gypsy suffering some kind of injuries, it would be only natural that Laura would play a significant role in her aftercare, and we doubt that included turning a blind eye to baths with grandpa and disappearances with him into a tiny closet.

We believe you Claude.
Which in turn means we don't believe you, Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

(Excerpt below) In 2024, Gypsy records that she was 8 or 9 when she was sexually abused by Claude Snr. She also suggests that the abuse had been going on for years. (She forgot to mention this in 'The Prison Confessions', 2024, which is where she first mentioned any kind of sexual abuse had ever taken place in her entire life). Gypsy was actually nearing 10 when her and Dee Dee were staying with Claude Snr after the car accident, as verified by court documents seen further down the page. 8 or 9 would make her seem far more child-like though, don't you think? (Source: 'My Time To Stand' but not off the cross even though you need the wood).
We believe you Claude Snr.

A friend of Dee Dee's sister, Claudia, recently spoke out on a content creator's social media platform.
She addressed the sexual abuse allegations stating that Claudia said the closet in which Gypsy claims she was sexually abused by Claude Snr is so small it could just about house one person.
She also referenced Gypsy's further accusation that she was made to take baths with both Dee Dee
and her grandfather, reporting that Claudia sent her a photo of the 'older than Gypsy', small bath tub in Claude Snr's house, which showed it could just about fit one adult.
Gypsy has also stated that she always had to bathe with Dee Dee at home.
Well, on at least one occasion she didn't, if ever. (See the rather disturbing image on the top right).

Claudia's friend also revealed that the Pitre family are considering suing Gypsy for false sexual assault allegations made against their father.
The friend stated that the only thing that has prevented them from doing this to date, is concern for Claude Snr, who is now (as of October 2024) 86 years old.
The friend said the family doesn't want to put Claude Snr through the ordeal that such a case would inevitably bring.
S
he also shared that the family fear retaliation from the Blanchard family should they file charges.
Allegedly when told that the Pitre family were considering taking legal action, Kristy Blanchard responded, "They're too stupid to sue us".
(Source: @ivoryroseknows 8th August, 2024).

Retaliation? What kind of retaliation?
To investigate this we went back to the social media discussion groups created in the aftermath of Dee Dee's passing, where we saw several references to Kristy Blanchard threatening to sue author's of posts she felt challenged her narrative.
One of Kristy's threats can be seen in an image on the right.
The lady Kristy Blanchard threatened to sue issued the response, "I'm a single mother what she gona get from me my ramen noodles and fruity pebbles stash!', before embarking on a unrestrained, tirade against Kristy Blanchard which unfortunately we can't cover in its entirety here.
You know those regrets you live this? We wonder how high picking on a woman with nothing to lose ranks on Kristy Blanchard's list of regrets.
We are guessing this is the kind of mud slinging situation the Pitre family are shielding their elderly father from.

Whilst we are not saying any of the comments made by the lady Kristy refers to as a 'stupid bitch' are true, her comments do offer a counter argument to the version of the truth as offered by the Blanchard's as to their status as grieving, excluded parents, so we feel their inclusion here is both justified and fair.
We would also like to shake this lady by the hand.

On 17th September, 2002, Dee Dee appeared in court following her application to be appointed Gypsy's natural tutor.
This relates to the car accident Dee Dee and Gypsy were involved in on May 29th, 2001, and suggests Gypsy may also have sustained some injuries in the accident.
It is a normal action taken by a parent seeking damages on behalf of their child and confirms that Dee Dee had sole custody and care for Gypsy.
This evidence reinforces that, as 'worried' as Rod claims he was about what was going on with Gypsy, he obviously hadn't been 'worried' enough over the course of 11 years, to apply for custody, or even joint custody, of her.

We do not know the outcome of the damages claim, but Dee Dee was awarded the role of Gypsy's natural tutor.

(Excerpt below) In December, 2024, Gypsy records that Rod and Dee Dee divorced in 1992. As can been seen in the official court document on the right, Rod and Dee Dee divorced on March 31st, 1994. It's almost as if we are being encouraged to believe the relationship between Rod and Dee Dee ended far sooner than it actually did. Surely professional researchers were employed in the writing of this 'memoir'? (Source: 'My Time To Stand' and spout misinformation because old habits die hard).

In 2003, Dee Dee and Gypsy were living in a public housing property in Slidell.
At some point, they move out of the property and into the home of a family who houses them after Dee Dee tells them she and Gypsy are homeless. (Source: The Good Wives' Network).
Kristy Blanchard suggests Dee Dee left the government housing accommodation because she didn't like it, but, frankly, we've reached the point of not believing a word Kristy Blanchard says.
Whilst living with the family, the son, Mike, had suggested to Dee Dee that she apply for a home with the charity, Habitat For Humanity, who help disabled people, and people generally down on their luck, to secure a new home.
Mike had a friend who worked for the charity and secured an application form, which Dee Dee completed.

During the time Dee Dee and Gypsy spent living with the family, the mother of the household underwent back surgery, and on returning home, her children would later allege, after Dee Dee's death, that their mother had asked them not to leave her food unattended as Dee Dee was poisoning her.
They would also allege that after Dee Dee and Gypsy moved out, they had cleaned their room and found credit card applications in different names using their mothers social security number.
As ever with allegations made after Dee Dee died, there is no evidence to substantiate these claims, and no criminal charges were ever filed.
If those things were happening to your mother would you have notified the police? We sure as hell would have.

On 26th December 2003, Dee Dee and Gypsy make front page news in a feature published in the Slidell-Sentry-News, offering another insight into what else had being happening since Dee Dee and Gypsy left Green Meadow.
In the article, Dee Dee reports to, 'Being abandoned by her family after the death of her mother'. She says she and Gypsy 'bounced around' for several years after that looking for affordable housing on their severely limited budget. Twice they ended up in their car.
Gypsy, aged 11, (Gypsy is 12) is reported as having, "multiple health problems, that have led her to being tube fed, and confined to a wheelchair and suffering with frequent seizures".
Dee Dee is quoted as saying, "This has been the most unbelievable, most miraculous year of our lives. We came to Slidell because this is the only place where public housing is available. The Lord really knew what he wanted for us. Today we have a roof over our heads, an adopted family of Granny Mary and Ronald Gisclair, a church family at Aldersgate Methodist church, social workers for Gypsy and we were given a trip to Disneyworld in Florida by the Children's Wish Endowment".
Gypsy is also quoted in the article, offering a report on the wonderful time she recently had at Disney World,
talking excitedly about how she, "Swam with dolphins and snorkelled with stingrays" at Discovery Cove.
Yeah, you heard right. Swam with dolphins and snorkelled with stingrays.
Gypsy, who claims she was forced to sit in a wheelchair by her abusive mother, is in print admitting, at the age of 12, to 'swimming with dolphins and snorkelling with stingrays'.
And there's a photo to prove it.
Gypsy must have said a thousand times that Dee Dee made her sit in a wheelchair and not get out of it, but she conveniently forgets to add, 'Except that one time when she let me loose with the dolphins and the stingrays'.
Maybe Gypsy had selectively told Dee Dee that her legs didn't feel quite so tired that day.
The article also refers to the 4 picture-stuffed scrapbooks on Dee Dee's lap, filled with 21 rolls of film Dee Dee had developed after the trip.
What happened to those photos we wonder?
The ones of Gypsy strolling around Disney World, aged 12?

Gypsy is attending events. She's going to conventions. She's meeting famous people. She's visiting Disney World and swimming with dolphins and snorkelling with stingrays.
She was Mardi Gras Queen for a day. She's interviewed for newspapers. She's having her photo taken. She's in the spotlight and getting attention.
Gypsy is learning all about the benefits that come from being and appearing sick.

(Excerpt below) In December 2024, Gypsy repeats her 'truth' in her 'memoir' that she was never allowed to get out of her wheelchair, even having to use it at home. ('My Time To Stand' and occasionally frolic with sea mammals).

On 14th January 2004, Gypsy is seen by a doctor at Tulane hospital, Louisiana to investigate a complaint of excessive drooling. >>  In response, Gypsy underwent a Barium swallowing test (27th January 2004), during which Gypsy, "exhibited significant difficulty in swallowing all consistency of food". Further, Gypsy showed, "significant gagging and coughing with each attempt to swallow".
In a medical record dated 17th May 2004, it is recorded that the test, "showed no evidence of aspiration or penetration", implying that the significant gagging and coughing, "may have been behavioural rather than a true swallowing dysfunction".
Put bluntly, Gypsy was choosing not to swallow the saliva in her mouth despite having the ability to do so.

Gypsy would later claim in an ABC News interview, that Dee Dee would rub her gums with a 'topical anaesthetic' to intentionally induce the drooling reflex, which led to the unnecessary removal of her salivary glands.
But you could swallow, Gyp.
🤡

Despite Gypsy's attempts to sabotage the test results, a medical decision was made to decrease the activity of Gypsy's salivary glands and the amount of saliva produced, using Botox treatment.
Gypsy received several courses of Botox treatment before the treatment was considered 'insufficient', and so a medical decision was made to remove one pair of Gypsy's salivary glands.
In fact, it is Gypsy herself - you know, Gypsy, who wasn't allowed to talk to doctors for fear of getting her fingers crushed by Dee Dee - who reports to a doctor on 8th December 2004, "(she, Gypsy, reports) this treatment (Botox) worked very well for a few months now. She started having trouble again".
And so a medical decision was made to remove one pair of Gypsy's salivary glands, her bilateral submandibular glands, which are located beneath the floor of the mouth and create up to 67% of unstimulated saliva secretion.
Kristy Blanchard says, "She (Gypsy) had two out of her four salivary glands removed. About 8 surgeries". (Would You Kill My Mother For Me, 2022).

Out of 4?
4 what Kristy, pairs or glands?
We have 3 pairs of major salivary glands, making a total of 6 glands. The numbers Kristy seemingly plucked out of thin air - 2 and 4 - do not make any sense.

And 8 surgeries to remove her bilateral submandibular glands?
It doesn't take 8 surgeries to remove bilateral submandibular glands.

It takes one surgery.
One single surgery.
What a doofus.

Gypsy tells us, "I've had many, many surgeries. I've had my
salivary glands removed because my mother said that I drooled". (Would You Kill My Mother For Me, 2022).
Because you did.

🤡

Gypsy claims that an 'intimidating and persuasive' Dee Dee hauled her off to the hospital where doctors agreed to whip out her salivary glands for no other reason on God's earth other than Dee Dee demanded it was done.
No.
The excision of Gypsy's bilateral submandibular glands was a medical decision.
And if it was the wrong decision, which is majorly unlikely, that is medical negligence, not parental abuse.

Gypsy's Attorney, Mike Stanfield, alleges, "Gypsy's mum was abusing her physically, medically, giving her medications she didn't need, having her go through procedures she didn't need." (Gypsy's Revenge, 2018).
Mike Stansfield stops short of naming one single medical procedure Gypsy had done that wasn't medically necessary at the time.
Because there isn't one.

Mike Stanfield visited Dee Dee's house post-murder and says, "The thing that shocked me the most was the closet inside Gypsy's house". (Gypsy's Truth And Lies, 2108).
Mike Stanfield is referring to Dee Dee's medicine cupboard, a cupboard would-be crime-scene investigator Kristy Blanchard drew his attention to, just as Kristy drew his attention to Dee Dee's 2007 controversial Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy suspicion.

Kristy recalls seeing the medicine cupboard for the first time with humour, laughing when she says, "And I was like, Holy shit. Y'all need to get over here right now and look at this. I mean my mouth dropped. From the top to the bottom. Full of so many medications". (Gypsy's Truth And Lies, 2018).
And our mouths dropped when we learnt that Kristy Blanchard had access to Dee Dee's house after she had been killed.

And it dropped again when we learnt that the medicine cupboard wasn't full of medications when Kristy saw it, it was virtually half empty.
Crime investigators had already done their jobs way before Kristy Blanchard was ever let loose inside Dee Dee's house, and Greene County's Sheriff''s office had already removed a lot of medication from the medicine cupboard.
The second photo seen below is the version of Dee Dee's medicine cupboard Kristy Blanchard presented to the world to reinforce the lie that Gypsy was a victim of Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy.
The third photo below is the actual crime scene photo of Dee Dee's medicine cupboard once medication had been removed.
The third photo is the medicine cupboard Kristy Blanchard saw when she was 'cleaning out' Dee Dee's house.

The medication removed was mainly pain medication and seizure medication, in both liquid and tablet form.
It wasn't only medication prescribed to Gypsy that was removed. It was also medication prescribed to Dee Dee.
Of the medication that remained in the cupboard once crime scene investigators had done their job, about 50% of it is readily available over the counter medication. The rest is made up of  largely unopened and unused prescription medication.
Unopened. Unused.
And the contents on the top and bottom shelves of the cupboard mainly hold regular bathroom supplies.

As for Dee Dee 'giving her (Gypsy) medications she didn't need', there is zero evidence to substantiate this. Zero. Because she wasn't.
We do know that Gypsy was self-administering medication, whether that be her own or Dee Dee's, as confirmed by some text messages Gypsy sent to Nicholas Godejohn, seen on the right.

Mike Stanfield also suggests that the orderly appearance of the medicine cupboard compared to the cluttered appearance of the rest of Dee Dee's house is somehow another sign of medical abuse.
Dee Dee's house was a mess because Dee Dee wasn't in a fit physical state to take care of it any more.
Friends attest to Dee Dee keeping her home immaculate before her health started fading.
And whose to say it wasn't 23 year old Gypsy maintaining the order of the medicine cupboard?
And why didn't Gypsy tidy up?
Mike Stanfield seems to forget there were two adults living in that house at the time of Dee Dee's murder.

In May 2014, nutritionists met with Dee Dee to discuss changing 22 year old Gypsy's formula from Paediasure, a supplement suitable for children aged 1-13, to one offering a higher calorie intake.
Dee Dee advised that she didn't want Gypsy's formula changed.
Gypsy liked Paediasure.
Gypsy really liked Paediasure.
Gypsy liked Paediasure so much, that she was still drinking it when she was almost 24 years old, out of a baby's bottle, from choice, as she admits to Nick in a text message seen below.
Yeah, you heard right. Gypsy chose to drink a child's food supplement out of a baby's bottle when she was 23 years old.

Mike Stanfield later said of Gypsy's plea deal,
“Yes we were able to come to a resolution that was satisfactory for the state, satisfactory for my client and ultimately that is what this is about. Making sure justice is served and I’m able to provide good representation.” (Ozarks First, Joshua Pineda, 28/12/23).
What about the truth?
What about good, honest representation?
What about justice for the real victim, Dee Dee Blanchard?

Shortly after Gypsy was released from prison, she attended a 'release' party held arranged by Mike Stanfield's at an airbnb.
We can see how 'getting away with murder' could be a cause for celebration for some people.
Friends and acquaintances Gypsy had made during her incarceration attended the gathering, including a friend, 'Daisy', who worked in the sex industry. (See image on the right).
We don't have an issue with women who choose to earn a living releasing pornographic images and videos of themselves; it's their body.
Mike Stanfield doesn't appear to have a problem with it either.
Go you, Mike.
It would seem Gypsy does though.
In April 2025, Gypsy responded to a comment on her X account which stated, "OMG here comes Only Fans".  Gypsy replied, "I am lady. I would never do something so low standard as Only Fans. Keeping it classy".

Sorry to disappoint Daisy;  you may consider yourself Gypsy's friend, but it would appear Gypsy views you as low-class trash.
Just saying.

(Excerpt below) In Gypsy's 2024 heap of garbage 'memoir' ('My Time To Stand' and continue on with my sense of entitlement') Gypsy blames Dee Dee for never weaning her off a bottle. As Gypsy says herself - which says it all - "I was a month shy of twenty-four years old".

On 4th September 2004, Dee Dee was arrested for an outstanding 1997 warrant for writing a bad cheque.
Phew. We bet Bobby Pitre was relieved when he heard 'America's Most Wanted' had been apprehended.
Personally, we would be have been more relieved to hear that someone who committed aggravated burglary, and carried an unlicensed firearm was captured and charged.
Just saying. Bobby.

Back home in Cut Off, Louisiana, Rod Blanchard is comfortably ensconced with Kristy, Dylan and Mia, and is seeing even less of Gypsy than he did before.

Rod offers yet another poor excuse for his physical absence from Gypsy's life, "I never really raised any hard questions with Dee Dee because she still allowed me to talk to her (Gypsy) when we called, and keep some kind of relationship. I knew that if I raised any serious questions or issues, she could cut me off in a minute. So the relationship we had was mostly just phone calls, gifts, birthday cards, stuff like that". (Gypsy's Revenge, 2018).
Rod was Gypsy's father. No judge in the land would cut off a father's access to his child unless there were serious concerns involved.

In a 2016 news article, Amy Pinegar, Dee Dee's friend and neighbour in Springfield, told Michelle Dean, executive producer of 'The Act', that Dee Dee told her, "Gypsy’s father was a deadbeat, an alcoholic drug abuser, who had mocked his daughter’s disabilities, called the Special Olympics a 'Freak show'.” (Michelle Dean, BuzzFeedNews, August 19th, 2016).
Kristy Blanchard recalls their attendance at the Special Olympics as,
 “All smiles”.
(Michelle Dean, Buzz Feed  News, August 19th, 2016).
We didn't realise one of Kristy Blanchard's children were disabled.
Gypsy attended at least two Gumbo Games - Louisiana's equivalent of The Special Olympics - one in 2002 and another in 2004.
There is a photo (seen below) confirming that Rod attended one of the events.
Up until 2008, Gypsy was shown to hold records in two of the Gumbo competitions; 60m and softplay.
Gypsy told Nicholas Godejohn in a 2014 video that she was solely responsible for faking her paralysis, beginning at 6 years old.
If true, how did it feel competing against genuinely disabled children Gyp?

Rod alleges that he was hoping Gypsy would know he'd be there for her forever, and says he was waiting for the day that she would call him and ask him to go and see her, as if the onus is on the child and not the parent.
Rod laments, "But that day never came". (Gypsy's Revenge, 2018).
Actually it did.
It came after Dee Dee was brutally murdered. It came once the cameras started rolling, at which point Rod and Kristy Blanchard, who had made no real attempt to physically see Gypsy for over 11 years, couldn't get there fast enough. And they took a Haul-U van with them.

Rod callously states in 2024, "Now that Dee Dee's gone, I have a completely fresh start with Gypsy". (The Prison Confessions', 2024).
There was nothing stopping Rod before. Maybe himself. Maybe someone else.
But not Dee Dee Blanchard, that's for sure.
We wonder if Kristy Blanchard has now added Gypsy and Nicolette's names to her 2013 inclusive family Christmas tree seen in the last photo below.

Gypsy was obviously very proud of her achievement in the 60m wheelchair race (as opposed to downright ashamed), so much so that in 2004, she told a doctor all about it. (Image below).
Not that Gypsy was ever allowed to talk in the presence of a doctor, you understand.
Or so she says.
